The Azcue Side Channel Pumps are used in low flow/high head applications where clean fluid is handled. The Side Channel Pumps can also handle a mixture of liquid and gas.
A Side Channel Pump has the characteristics of a Centrifugal Pump and a positive displacement Pump.
Due to the self-priming capabilities, the Pump initially functions as a displacement pump. Once the side channels are filled, the Pump begins to operate as a Centrifugal Pump.
